Cookie Calculations

In this activity, students will step into the kitchen to explore the math behind baking!

🍪They’ll estimate costs, calculate how many cookies can be made with a given amount of ingredients, and work through the practical considerations of selling cookies at a bake sale. Along the way, students will sharpen skills like multiplication, division, and critical thinking as they determine fair pricing while considering real life factors.

⏰ about40 to 60 minutes to complete, including the starter activity.
